Contract award: BP, Skarv FPSO
IKM Testing has signed a new contract with BP Norway for mechanical completion and commissioning services on pipe and process systems on board Skarv FPSO.
The work has already started and the main part of the assignment will be carried out at Samsung Heavy Industries’ yard in South-Korea until the FPSO sails to Norway late in 2010. The remaining work will be executed atshore Norway and during the offshore hook-up on the Skarv field in Q1-Q2 2011.
We are very pleased to be awarded such an extensive and important contract by an international company such as BP. IKM Testing is already involved in this massive project with subsea pre-commissioning and CTS (Cuttings Transport System) services. The new award strengthens our international development, and we look forward to continue our cooperation with BP!
